Logistics Coordinator for Construction Project in Lund

Bygglogistikstandard (BLS) is now looking for a logistics coordinator for an exciting construction project in Lund. As a logistics coordinator, you will be an important part of the project's ambition to create a more efficient, safer, and more sustainable construction production.About the positionYour main task on the construction project is to be responsible for logistics. This is done in close dialogue with the project and site management to contribute to keeping the project schedule. Your main responsibility aims to streamline and manage the delivery flow into the project to ensure it happens as smoothly and safely as possible, based on established logistics routines. You will report to the site manager on the project and will have close dialogue and support from the BLS project manager.Responsibilities:

• Own the logistics issue on the project and ensure that all parties involved follow established logistics routines.

• Ensure that the established logistics plan and the routines that apply to all parties involved in the project are followed.

• Continuously administer, plan, and book deliveries and machinery resources against time slots/scheduled deliveries in the delivery planning system.

• Continuously update APD plans and logistics routines.

• Be the convener for logistics meetings on the project and hold information meetings with suppliers and contractors, where the project's logistics routines are communicated.

• Continuously ensure that driving routes, unloading areas, and internal access roads are clear.

• Be responsible for planning, coordinating, and following up on any material transports.

• Be responsible for coordinating and continuously following up on the project's waste management.

• Compile reports and statistics for site management.

Your profileSince the position requires you to be responsible and willing to stand up for what should prevail in logistics matters on the project, we see it as a great advantage if you have had similar responsibilities in previous positions.

As there are many parties to coordinate and collaborate with in the area, it is essential that you genuinely enjoy frequent communication with various types of people, both internally and externally connected to the construction. You speak and write fluently in both Swedish and English.

Since the tasks in the position will vary throughout the day, it is important that you are solution-oriented and flexible in your actions, without compromising the adherence to established routines and thus maintaining order and clarity.

You who are applying have relevant work experience in construction. If you also have a relevant post-secondary education, it is an advantage.
